Why not give a spin to the same old boring wheat flour parathas and conjure up some utterly healthy and yet wonderful smelling rice flour parathas instead? Let’s give it a whirl!

Firstly, water needs to be boiled in a pan with salt before mixing rice flour in the water thoroughly and removing the mixture from the heat. Now knead the dough properly for the parathas and keep it aside.

Next, a thick batter of besan, water, ajwain, amchur, chat masala, red chilli powder, haldi, and asafoetida needs to be made and kept aside. From the rice dough, make small balls and roll out two rotis from each ball. After greasing the hot tawa for cooking, place one roti on the griddle and spread the thick besan batter on it, and then cover it with the layer of the second roti.

Allow both sides to cook until they assume a golden-pinkish tint. Serve the rice flour parathas with some curds or sabzis. Yum!
