Ingredients

  • basmati rice-1/4 cup
  • sugar- as per taste
  • ghee-1 tsp
  • Almond and cashew nut-50 gms
  • Milk - 1 litre
  • How to Make Rice Payasam:

    1. Fry the rice in the ghee. Using the blender grind the dry rice to break it into small pices.
    2. Boil the milk and then simmer until the milk thickens(quantity of milk reduces to half).
    3. Grind the nuts with a little milk. Mix with milk let it boil for few minutes.
    4. Add rice and cook well. Add sugar.
    5. Let it boil for few minutes. Serve chilled.
