Ingredients

  • 1 whole leg of Mutton
  • 3 large Potatoes
  • 1 tbsp - Vinegar
  • 2 tsp - pepper powder
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Roast Leg Of Lamb

  • Wash the mutton leg and make deep cuts in it.
  • Rub it well all over with the salt, pepper and vinegar.
  • Place it in a big ovenproof dish and drizzle the oil over it. Place the potatoes around it.
  • Pour 2 cups of water and cook on a medium hear for about 1 hour 20 minutes till the meat is tender and brown.
  • Serve hot or cold with bread and steamed vegetables.
