  • 1.5 lb. - chicken, cut into medium-large sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp - all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp - black pepper powder
  • 2 tbsp - fresh lime juice
  • 2 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • Food colouring - a little (optional)
  • 1 tsp - vinegar
  • 2 tsp - olive oil
  • Butter - to coat the baking dish.

How to Make Roasted Chicken (Baked Dish)

  • Take a bowl and mix all of the mentioned ingredients (except oil) and allow them to marinate for 3-4 hours (or refrigerate for 2 hrs).
  • Smear the insides of a large baking dish with a little butter, and then place the marinated chicken pieces with adequate spacing (do not crowd in many pieces together).
  • Drizzle a bit of olive oil on top and set the dish in the preheated oven at 400 degree F for 35 minutes.
  • After 35 minutes, remove the baking dish from the oven, turn the pieces to the other side.
  • Drizzle in some more olive oil and sprinkle some black pepper powder and salt.
  • Put it back in the oven for another 20 minutes or until crispy and golden on all sides.
  • Serve hot with sliced onions and lime slices.
