  • 1.5 lb. - chicken, cut into medium-large sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp - all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp - black pepper powder
  • 2 tbsp - fresh Lime juice
  • 2 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • Food colouring - a little (optional)
  • 1 tsp - Vinegar
  • 2 tsp - Olive oil
  • Butter - to coat the baking dish.
  • How to Make Roasted Chicken (Baked Dish):

    1. Take a bowl and mix all of the mentioned ingredients (except oil) and allow them to marinate for 3-4 hours (or refrigerate for 2 hrs).
    2. Smear the insides of a large baking dish with a little butter, and then place the marinated chicken pieces with adequate spacing (do not crowd in many pieces together).
    3. Drizzle a bit of olive oil on top and set the dish in the preheated oven at 400 degree F for 35 minutes.
    4. After 35 minutes, remove the baking dish from the oven, turn the pieces to the other side.
    5. Drizzle in some more olive oil and sprinkle some black pepper powder and salt.
    6. Put it back in the oven for another 20 minutes or until crispy and golden on all sides.
    7. Serve hot with sliced onions and lime slices.
