Ingredients

  • Dried red chillies - 5
  • Onion - 1
  • Garlic - 5 flakes
  • Sugar - 2 tsp
  • Thick Tamarind juice - 2 tsp
  • Dry shrimp - 1 tbsp (optional)
  • Oil - 5 tbsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • How to Make Roasted Chilli Paste:

    1. Grind all the ingredients, except oil, to a paste.
    2. Heat oil and roast the paste over medium flame till the raw smell is lost.
