  • 1/2 cup - Sago
  • 1/2 cup - Rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp - Rose syrup
  • 2 cups - Milk
  • 1/2 cup - Sweetened condensed milk
  • A few fried cashew nuts and raisins
  • 1 tsp - Ghee
  • 1/4 tsp - Cardamom powder

How to Make Rose Syrup, Sago and Oats Kheer

  • Cook the sago with enough water until it turns transparent, drain and keep aside.
  • Bring to boil the milk and condensed milk together, then add the already cooked sago and rolled oats and simmer until the kheer gets slightly thickened.
  • Immediately add the rose syrup, fried cashew nuts, fried raisins, ghee and cardamom powder, bring everything to boil and put off the stove.
