Ingredients

  • Rui fish - 4 pieces
  • Green pea paste - 200 g
  • Tomatoes - 2, diced into small pieces
  • Green chillies - 4, slit
  • Onion paste - 2 tbsp
  • Ginger paste - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Mustard oil - 4 tbsp
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • How to Make Rui Fish with Peas:

    1. Mix fish with turmeric powder and a little salt.
    2. Fry it in a kadai and keep aside.
    3. Heat mustard oil. Add onion paste, ginger paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and sugar to it. Cook well.
    4. Add tomatoes, green peas, green chillies, and cook for some more time.
    5. Add the fish and a little water and cook till done.
