Ingredients

  • Rui fish - 4 pieces
  • Green pea paste - 200 g
  • Tomatoes - 2, diced into small pieces
  • Green chillies - 4, slit
  • Onion paste - 2 tbsp
  • Ginger paste - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Mustard oil - 4 tbsp
  • Sugar - 1 tsp

How to Make Rui Fish with Peas

  • Mix fish with turmeric powder and a little salt.
  • Fry it in a kadai and keep aside.
  • Heat mustard oil. Add onion paste, ginger paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and sugar to it. Cook well.
  • Add tomatoes, green peas, green chillies, and cook for some more time.
  • Add the fish and a little water and cook till done.
