Ingredients

  • 1 kg - broiler chicken ( boneless)
  • 5 - onions, finely chopped
  • 6 tbsp - butter
  • 1.5 tsp - ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 2.5 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1.5 tsp - garam masala powder
  • 5 tbsp - rum
  • Salt.

How to Make Rum Chicken

  • Clean and wash the chicken.
  • Lightly heat butter in a heavy bottomed kadai.
  • Add the onions and saute on a low flame till golden.
  • Add salt, turmeric, pepper, red chilli powder and ginger garlic paste and saute for a raw mins.
  • Cook on a low flame for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Add coriander and garam masala powder and saute on a low flame for few minutes and then simmer.
  • Cook till the chicken is tender, mixing at regular intervals.
  • When the chicken is done, add rum and mix well. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
