  • 2 cups - leftover saboodana khichidi
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 pinch - soda bicarbonate.

How to Make Saboodana Khichidi Papadums

  • Boil water in a deep vessel. Add khichidi, salt, soda, stir and cook.
  • When the mixture thickens take off fire.
  • Spread in direct sunlight, a thick sheet of plastic and on it lay a cotton sheet. Take ladlefuls of mixture, spread into small thick circles.
  • Dry in sun till brittle, flipping side when half dried.
  • Store in airtight container.
  • Deep fry in hot oil, when required.
  • Serve.
