  • Sabudana -100 gm
  • Big size potatoes - 4
  • Green chillies - 5
  • Corn flour - 4 spoons
  • Grated ginger - 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves - a few
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
  • Bread crumbs - 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying

How to Make Sabudana Vada

  • Boil sabudana and potatoes separately till it is tender enough for mashing.
  • Drain excess water from sabudana and spread it in a big plate to dry a little
  • Mash the potatoes in to a fine paste and mix it with dried sabudana and corn flour, finely chopped green chillies, grated ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves and salt.
  • Make small balls and flatten the balls to shape like vada, coat with bread crumbs, deep fry till the vadas are golden brown, serve.
