Ingredients

  • 2 cups saboodana (sago)
  • Water
  • How to Make Sago Soaking:

    1. Take sago in a wide bowl, wash gently by passing fingers through it.
    2. Change water 2-3 times. Drain excess water.
    3. Cover and keep for 15 minutes. It will become a lump.
    4. Loosen gently with fingers and break lumps apart till sago is in separate particles.
    5. Sprinkle some more water, cover and keep for 15 minutes.
    6. Repeat above procedure till sago is soft , separated and spongy.
    7. Take care to be gentle while handling soaked sago.
    8. Proceed as recipe requires.
