Ingredients

  • 1 cup - thin or medium aval/poha
  • 1/4 cup - fresh, grated coconut
  • 1/4 cup - sugar (or to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp - cardamom powder

How to Make Sakkarai Thengai Aval - Sugar Coconut Aval

  • Wash aval / poha in cool water. Squeeze it dry and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  • Add sugar, coconut & cardamom to the aval. Mix gently and serve.
