  • 1 cup - thin or medium aval/poha
  • 1/4 cup - fresh, grated Coconut
  • 1/4 cup - Sugar (or to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • How to Make Sakkarai Thengai Aval - Sugar Coconut Aval:

    1. Wash aval / poha in cool water. Squeeze it dry and let it sit for 5 minutes.
    2. Add sugar, coconut & cardamom to the aval. Mix gently and serve.
