Ingredients

  • 300 g - Chicken
  • 50 ml - refined oil
  • 150 g - sliced Onions
  • 5 g - whole Garam Masala
  • ginger-garlic paste
  • 15 g - red chilly powder
  • 2 g - Turmeric powder
  • 50 g - fresh Tomato puree
  • 10 g - salt
  • 100 g - shoe string Potatoes
  • How to Make Salli Chicken:

    1. Wash and trim the chicken.
    2. In a heavy bottomed pan, heat the refined oil.
    3. Add the whole spices and allow to crackle.
    4. Add the sliced onion and saute till golden brown.
    5. Add the ginger garlic paste. Cook for 3 minutes
    6. Add the powdered spices followed by a tsp of water.
    7. Cook till the oil appears on top.
    8. Add the chicken followed by the fresh tomato puree.
    9. Cook covered for 15 mins on a slow heat.
    10. Season with salt and serve topped with deep fried shoe string potatoes.
