Ingredients

  • 2 cups - plain flour
  • 1 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1/4 tsp - ajwain seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Warm water to make dough
  • Ghee for Deep Frieding.

How to Make Salty Khaja

  • Mix the ghee and salt in the flour.
  • Add water little by little to make a smooth pliable dough.
  • Make small thin rounds (4 inch diameter).
  • Prick them on both sides with a fork.
  • Allow to dry for 20-30 minutes.
  • Deep Fried in hot ghee till done.
  • Drain and cool.
