Ingredients

  • 250 gm - small Red Chillies
  • 1 cup - water
  • 1.5 tsp - salt
  • 2 tsp - Sugar
  • 1 tbsp - brown Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp -groundnut oil.
  • How to Make Sambal Ulek:

    1. Heat and cool oil. Keep aside.
    2. Chop chillies, add water, bring to boil.
    3. Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes.
    4. Cool and transfer to a small blender.
    5. Add salt, vinegar, oil, sugar, and run for a few seconds.
    6. Empty into a glass jar with plastic lid.
    7. Use as required.
