Ingredients

  • 1 - Onion
  • To grind:
  • Fresh coconut, grated - 1 cup
  • 1 - Onions
  • Tomato - 1
  • Chutney dhal - 1 tbsp
  • Tamarind paste - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves - a few
  • For seasoning:
  • Onion sliced - 1
  • Curry leaves - a few
  • Cumin - as per need
  • How to Make Sambar with Fresh Grated Coconut:

    1. Grind all the ingredients.
    2. Take a kadai, heat oil, and add cumin and curry leaves.
    3. Add sliced onions and fry it
    4. Add the ground mixture to it, add salt to taste and bring it to a boil with enough water
    5. Serve with hot rice and ghee
