How to Make Saucy Tomato Sabzi

  • Chop tomatoes.
  • Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard and cumin seeds.
  • Add asafoetida, curry leaves and chillies.
  • Stir and add tomatoes.
  • Add red chilli, turmeric, garam masala, cumin and coriander powders and salt.
  • Stir gently, cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Sprinkle sugar, stir and simmer for 2 mins.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
  • Serve hot.
