  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 - onion, finely chopped
  • 6 Cloves - garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 - 2 tsp - soy sauce
  • 1 - capsicum, cut into small cubes
  • 5 - sausages, cut into 1/8-inch roundels
  • 2 cups - cooked and cooled Rice
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper powder
  • How to Make Sausage Fried Rice:

    1. Cut sausage into thin slices and keep it aside.
    2. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a frying pan.
    3. Reduce heat to medium, add sliced sausages and shallow fry it till they are soft and light brown in color.
    4. In another pan, heat remaining 1 tbsp of oil.
    5. Add chopped onions and fry till they are pink in color and fragrant.
    6. Add chopped garlic to it and fry for 3 - 4 minutes.
    7. Add capsicum pieces and fry it for 3 minutes.
    8. Add shallow fried sausages and stir it well.
    9. Add cooked and cooled rice, soy sauce and salt to it. Mix it well.
    10. Do not cover it with lid. Stir it continuously and fry for 5 minutes on low heat until the rice and sausages are well mixed with all the ingredients.
    11. Sprinkle pepper powder and serve it with any gravy dishes of your choice.
