Ingredients

  • 8 slices- bread
  • 4 tbsp - butter
  • 4 sausages
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • 2 tbsp - chopped onions

How to Make Sausage Sandwiches

  • Wash the sausages lightly taking care to break them.
  • Prick with a fork in a few places.
  • Place the sausages carefully in a pan and boil them with 1/2 cup of water.
  • Keep boiling till all the water evaporates and only the fat remains.
  • Lower the heat and keep frying till the sausages are brown all over.
  • Smash the sausages lightly.
  • Spread butter on one side of all the slices of bread.
  • Place the fried, mashed sausages on 4 slices and sprinkle chopped onions on top.
  • Cover with the remaining slices of bread.
  • Cut away the crusts.
  • Slice lengthwise.
