How to Make Sauteed Brinjal

  • Cut the brinjals into thin pieces, soak in salt water for 2 mins.
  • Heat 4 spoons of oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and chopped onion.
  • Fry it till the onion becomes brown in colour.
  • Then add the brinjal, cover and cook for 2 minutes. Keep stirring the contents after every two minutes or so.
  • When the brinjals are fried, add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder and salt.
  • Sautee it for 2 more mins.
  • Serve hot with chapathis.
