Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups - whole Wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup - Rice flour
  • 1/4 cup - water
  • 1/2 cup - oil
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1 - medium-sized onion, finely chopped
  • 1 - green chilli, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp - Hing (optional)
  • 2 tsp - Jeera
  • a handful of coriander leaves, chopped finely

How to Make Savoury Onion Crackers

  • Mix all the ingredients, except the oil, and start kneading.
  • Add oil bit by bit and knead the dough for 5-10 minutes (chapatti dough-like consistency).
  • Make small balls from the dough.
  • Preheat an oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Line the baking tray with foil.
  • Place the dough balls and flatten them out with your palm into thin circles.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Store in an airtight container and consume within a few days.
