  • 1 cup - gram flour
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 Green chillies chopped
  • 1 tsp - chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp - baking soda or baking powder
  • Oil for frying
  • How to Make Savoury Onion Pakoras:

    1. Mix all the above ingredients together (except the oil) to form a sticky batter.
    2. Heat the oil in a deep drying pan till smoky.
    3. Drop in a tsp of batter at a time into the hot oil and fry till golden brown.
    4. Remove and serve with tomato sauce or chutney.
