Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg - minced meat with bones
  • 2 - tomatoes
  • 4 - half boiled egg
  • 4 tbsp - maida
  • 100 g - bread crumbs
  • 1 - egg
  • pepper as per taste
  • oil for frying
  • salt to taste

How to Make Scotch Egg

  • Boil minced meat with tomatoes, pepper and salt. Add one tsp of oil. Cook until the meat is tender and soft.
  • Boil until the water has evaporated.
  • Add 1/2 cup of water and allow to cool for 5 mins.
  • Add flour to the minced meat and cook until it becomes sticky.
  • Remove from fire and let it cool.
  • Divide the mixture into four equal parts.
  • Take one part and flatten on your palm.
  • Cover the egg with the palms.
  • Roll the egg covered with keema in beaten egg.
  • Roll it in the bread crumbs.
  • Fry in a deep frying pan.
  • After it is completely fried, serve hot.
