Ingredients

  • 250 g - Boneless white-fish fillets, cubed
  • 3 cups - Water
  • 400ml - Thick Coconut Milk
  • 1 - Chopped white Onion
  • 1 tbsp - Grated Ginger
  • 2 tbsp - Any herb like fresh Lemon grass or Parsley
  • 1 - Small red/green chilli - chopped
  • 1 tbsp- Fish sauce or Oyster sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp- Lime juice
  • 100g - Finely chopped Cabbage
  • 1/4 cup- freshly chopped - Coriander leaves

How to Make Seafood coconut Soups and Stews

  • Smear salt on fish and set aside for a few mins
  • Add all the ingredients, ( except the fish and coriander) in a saucepan and boil for 5 mins
  • Now add the fish
  • Cover the pan and simmer for 2 mins
  • Add the coriander
  • Now, uncover the pan and cook for 10 mins
  • Serve hot with garlic bread.
