Ingredients

  • 1 cup - frozen crabmeat
  • 1 cup - shrimps, peeled and de-veined
  • 1/2 kg - firm fish, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 2 - carrots, sliced
  • 3 - tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup - chopped Onion
  • 2 tbsp - chopped Celery
  • 1/4 cup - chopped Capsicum
  • 2 - Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1 cup - dry white wine
  • 1 cup - Chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp - Oregano
  • 1/4 tsp - pepper powder
  • salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp - oil

How to Make Seafood Stew

  • Heat oil in a skillet.
  • Add onion, capsicum, carrots, garlic and celery.
  • Saute till onions are transparent.
  • Add tomatoes and green chillies.
  • Stir well for a minute.
  • Add white wine, chicken broth, salt and pepper.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce flame, and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, till vegetables are tender.
  • Add shrimp, fish and crabmeat.
  • Cook until fish is opaque, stirring occasionally and very carefully. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add oregano and mix.
  • Serve hot.
