Ingredients

  • frozen puff pastry - 1 kg
  • granulated Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • sesame seeds - 1/2 cup
  • Egg to brush
  • How to Make Seeds and Sugar Sticks:

    1. Thaw the puff party and roll out to about 4 mm thick sheet.
    2. Brush the sheet with lightly beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar and sesame seeds.
    3. Cut into strips, about 2cm wide and 6-8 cm long.
    4. Place on a baking sheet and bake in a very hot oven (240 degrees centigrade C) for 10 minutes.
    5. Reduce temperature to 180 degrees centigrade and bake for 10-15 minutes more till well-risen and crisp.
    6. Cool and store in an air tight container.
