How to Make Semiya Vegetable Pulao

  • Boil about 8 cups of water.
  • Add 1/2 tsp salt and the semiya. Boil for 1-2 mins till the semiya is cooked.
  • Drain the water. Rinse the semiya with cold water and drain.
  • Place all the ingredients from oil to cardamom in a microwave safe bowl. Cook without covering on full power for 5 mins, stirring once, after 3 mins.
  • Add all the vegetables, sprinkle 1 tbsp of water, cover and cook for 2 mins.
  • Add tomato puree, mint and coriander leaves. Cook for 1 minute.
  • Add the cooked semiya and salt.
  • Mix gently, cover and cook for 2-3 mins, till the contents are heated.
  • Serve hot.
