  • semolina (rawa) - 1/2 cup
  • boiled peanuts - 1/2 cup
  • onions - 2
  • green chillies - 3 to 4
  • corriander leaves - 3 tbsp
  • oil to fry
  • salt to taste
  • To Coat:
  • flour
  • bread crumbs

How to Make Semolina and Peanut Balls

  • Boil the water. Add salt.
  • Sprinkle semolina little by little, stirring the mixture all the time.
  • Cook stirring for 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from fire, allow to cool and thicken.
  • Add chopped peanuts, onions, green chillies and coriander leaves. Add salt.
  • With moist palms, form lime size balls with the mixture.
  • Make a thin paste with flour and water.
  • Coat the balls with this paste and roll in bread crumbs.
  • Deep fry in hot oil.
  • Serve hot with tomato sauce or chutney
