Ingredients

  • 1 cup - rava
  • 1 cup - Curd
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1/4 tsp - soda bicarb or 1 tsp - eno fruit soda
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 3 - green chillies, ground to paste
  • For Seasoning:
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 3-4 pinch - Mustard Seeds
  • 5 - Curry leaves
  • Coriander leaves - for garnishing.

How to Make Semolina Squares

  • Mix rava, salt, green chilli paste and curds in a bowl.
  • Add 2 tbsp water, beat well with a wooden spoon or spatula.
  • Mix oil, soda, and mix into the batter, till it froths well.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased plate.
  • Steam and cook for 10-12 mins.
  • Remove from the steamer.
  • Cut into square shapes with a greased knife.
  • Heat oil for seasoning
  • Splutter mustard seeds and add curry leaves.
  • Spread the seasoning over the pieces.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves
  • Serve hot.
