Ingredients

  • 1 cup - semolina
  • 2 cups - hot water
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp- Urad Dal
  • 1/4- coconut, grated
  • 10 - Curry leaves
  • 2 tsp - oil
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • Green chillies - chopped
  • How to Make Semolina Upma:

    1. Heat the oil and splutter the mustard seeds.
    2. Fry the urad dal and curry leaves.
    3. Add onion and green chillies.
    4. Add the semolina and fry it till it is light brown.
    5. Add the hot water and salt. Cook on low heat.
    6. When dry add the coconut, mix and serve.
