  • 100 gm - black sesame
  • 3/4 cup - grated Jaggery
  • 1 tbsp - Ghee
  • 10 - Cashew nuts
  • 1 tsp - grated Coconut
  • How to Make Sesame Seeds Seyan:

    1. Soak the sesame seeds in water for 30 mins.
    2. Drain the water and dry fry the sesame seeds in a pan and fry it till it starts to sputter
    3. Cool and grind it in mixer to a fine powder
    4. To this add grated jaggery and grind well.
    5. In a separate pan, add 1 tsp of ghee and fry the cashews and coconut till they become golden colour
    6. Remove the fried cashews and coconut from flame and add it to the ground sesame seeds seyan mixture and mix it well
    7. Make small balls out of this mixture.
    8. Now the delicious sesame seed seyan is ready to serve.
