  • 100 gm - black sesame
  • 3/4 cup - grated jaggery
  • 1 tbsp - ghee
  • 10 - cashew nuts
  • 1 tsp - grated coconut

How to Make Sesame Seeds Seyan

  • Soak the sesame seeds in water for 30 mins.
  • Drain the water and dry fry the sesame seeds in a pan and fry it till it starts to sputter
  • Cool and grind it in mixer to a fine powder
  • To this add grated jaggery and grind well.
  • In a separate pan, add 1 tsp of ghee and fry the cashews and coconut till they become golden colour
  • Remove the fried cashews and coconut from flame and add it to the ground sesame seeds seyan mixture and mix it well
  • Make small balls out of this mixture.
  • Now the delicious sesame seed seyan is ready to serve.
