Ingredients

  • 200 g - White sesame seeds
  • 200 g - Sugar or Jaggery
  • 1tsp - Vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp - ghee.

How to Make Sesame Seeds Toffee

  • Roast the sesame seeds (til seeds) on a low fire for about 5 minutes.
  • Melt the sugar or jaggery in a heavy bottom vessel until it forms a thick syrup.
  • Add the roasted sesame seeds, ghee and vanilla essence. Mix well and cook until the mixture starts leaving the sides of the vessel.
  • Remove from heat and pour onto a greased plate.
  • Spread well.
  • Let it cool.
  • Cut into squares and serve.
