Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Tomato puree
  • 1 cup - Sev
  • 2 tsp - Minced Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp - Chopped, Green chillies
  • 1 tbsp - Jaggery
  • 2 tsp - Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp - Red chilly powder
  • 1 tsp - Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp - Cooking oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - Hing
  • 1/2 cup - Hot water.
  • How to Make Sev-Tameta Nu Shaak:

    1. Heat oil in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds.
    2. Add the hing, green chillies and garlic to it and saute for 1-2 mins.
    3. Add the tomato puree and jaggery along with the spices and mix well.
    4. Mix the hot water into it and simmer for 10 mins and let it boil.
    5. Add sev in the gravy and cook it for 5 mins or until it softens.
    6. Add The lemon juice and mix well.
    7. Serve hot in a bowl.
