Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Rice flour
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • Curry leaves
  • salt to taste
  • Lemon juice - to taste
  • 1/2 sp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • How to Make Sevai:

    1. Slightly fry the rice flour. Mix it with warm water until it resembles chapatti dough.
    2. Put it in a murukku machine with small holes, and pipe out on to idli plates.
    3. Steam it in a pressure cooker like we do for idlis.
    4. After it is done, let it cool.
    5. In a pan, add some oil, mustard seeds, urad dal, green chillies, curry leaves and turmeric.
    6. Mix this with the sevai. The add salt and lemon juice.
