Ingredients

  • 500 g - Paneer
  • 1 - Bay Leaves
  • 150 g - light Cream
  • 1/2 glass - Milk
  • 1.5 cups - Onion paste
  • 1.5 cups - Tomato puree
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Sugar
  • 2 tsp - oil
  • salt
  • Coriander leaves to garnish
  • How to Make Shaahee Paneer:

    1. Cut paneer into cubes and keep aside.
    2. Heat oil in a kadai. Add bay leaf and onion paste.
    3. Saute onion is transparent in colour and then add tomato puree.
    4. Cook for 10-15 mins or till the oil separates.
    5. Then add red chilli powder, salt, coriander powder and sugar and mix well.
    6. Add cream and 1/2 glass of milk.
    7. Cook until it turns into a thick gravy.
    8. Now add paneer and cook for another 10 minutes.
    9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve with chapatti.
