To make the koftas: Grate the laukis and add the rest of the ingredients to make a paste. Make small balls and fry the koftas until golden brown. Grind the onion, ginger and garlic to make a paste. In a pan, heat the oil, add above paste and fry until golden brown.
Add the chilli, dhania powder, jeera, haldi, hing and fry for 1 minute.
Add the tomato puree along with the salt. Cover and let it cook for 5 mins on medium heat.
Now add the 2 cups of water and bring it to boil.
Finally, add the fried koftas and let it cook on low heat for 5 mins.
For the final garnish, pour the cream over the koftas and sprinkle chopped coriander leaves. Enjoy the shahi koftas.
