Ingredients

  • 1/2 lbs - Paneer
  • 2 - Onions (medium sized)
  • 2 - Tomatoes (medium sized)
  • 10 - Cashew nuts (soak it for 15 minutes)
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • Coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric
  • Ginger - small piece (grated)
  • How to Make Shahi Paneer:

    1. Cut onions, tomatoes and chillies into small pieces. Cut paneer into triangular pieces.
    2. Heat oil in a pan. Put cumin seeds and then diced onions and chillies.
    3. After 3 mins, add ginger, coriander powder, chilli powder, cashewnuts, salt and fresh coriander leaves.
    4. After 2 mins put tomatoes.
    5. Cover it, cook until raw smell goes and tomatoes are fully cooked.
    6. Leave this mixture for some time so that it cools down.
    7. Grind this mixture to a smooth paste.
    8. Again put this paste into a pan and add some water.
    9. Let it simmer for 2-3 mins.
    10. Put paneer pieces into it and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with naan or chapattis.
