  • 250 g - sweet potatoes (boiled and peeled)
  • Butter
  • 2 apples
  • 2 bananas
  • 150 g - papaya, peeled
  • 100 g -watermelon, peeled and deseeded
  • 30 g - pomegranate seeds
  • 50 g - grapes
  • 1.5 tsp - rock salt
  • 1/2 tsp - amchur powder
  • juice of 1 lemon

How to Make Shakarkandhi Aur Phalon Ki Chaat

  • Dice the boiled and peeled sweet potato.
  • Heat the butter on a griddle (tawa), shallow fry the sweet potatoes on all sides till crisp and light golden in colour. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Dice all the fruits (do not peel the apples), and mix them with the fried sweet potatoes.
  • Add the rock salt, amchur powder and lemon juice.
  • Toss gently and transfer into a serving plate and garnish with the mint leaves.
  • Serve chilled.
