  • 30 - Shallots
  • 5 - Red chillies (can decrease also)
  • ½ - Tomatoes
  • 5 - Garlic
  • 3 tbsp - Gingili oil
  • 1/4 tsp - Mustard seeds
  • 3 - Curry leaves
  • Salt

How to Make Shallots N Red chillies Chutney

  • Heat few drops of gingili oil, saute shallots, red chillies, tomato pieces, garlic for 5 minutes, grind into a coarse paste with enough salt.
  • This chutney will be very spicy, heat again the rest gingili oil and add mustard seeds and curry leaves and allow them to splutter.
  • Add them to the hot chutney.
  • Serve them as side dish for idlis and dosas.
