  • All purpose flour or Maida - 1 cup
  • Water - 2 cups
  • Sugar - 3/4 cup
  • salt - a pinch
  • Oil - 8 tbsp
  • How to Make Shankar Pole:

    1. Add about 4 tbsp of hot oil to maida. Mix well.
    2. Knead the dough by adding water to it.
    3. While kneading add powdered sugar and salt.
    4. Keep it covered so that it will not dry.
    5. Roll it on a flat surface and cut into small diamond shapes.
    6. Deep-fry till golden brown and crispy.
    7. It can be stored for one month.
