Ingredients

  • 1 cup - shevya
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 1 cup - scraped Coconut
  • 1 cup - jaggery/ Brown sugar
  • 1 pinch - salt
  • a few - Cashewnuts
  • 1 tsp - Nutmeg powder
  • 1 tbsp - butter/ghee
  • How to Make Shevaya (vermicelli) sheera with coconut:

    1. In a big microwavable bowl, microwave shevaya (dry) for 2 mins.
    2. Remove and stir it.
    3. Microwave again for 30 seconds to 1 minute until they are golden brown in colour.
    4. Add all the remaining ingredients and microwave it for 3 mins.
    5. Stir and microwave it for 2-3 mins.
    6. Stir in between until it is fully cooked.
