Ingredients

  • 150 g - Mutton ground
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper
  • 1 tbsp - vegetable oil
  • 4 cups - boiling water
  • 2 cubes - Beef stock or equivalent amount of instant bouillon
  • 1/2 cup - cooked Rice and vermicelli
  • 1/2 tsp - - Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp - Parsley for garnishing (chopped)
  • How to Make Shourba kheema meatball soup:

    1. Mix the ground meat with salt and pepper and form into small balls.
    2. Place oil in casserole, microwave at HIGH for 1 minute.
    3. Add in meat balls and microwave at HIGH for 3 to 3.5 mins. Set aside.
    4. Dissolve the cubes of stock in the boiling water. Then add the cooked rice and the meat balls.
    5. Microwave the mixture at HIGH for 2 to 2.5 mins. Then stir.
    6. Mix 1/2 tsp of cinnamon into the soup and stir. Garnish with some chopped parsley.
