Ingredients

  • 4 - medium carrots grated/shredded
  • 500ml - yogurt
  • 1- onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 3 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1 tsp - chopped ginger
  • 5 to 6 - curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • salt to taste

How to Make Shredded Carrots In Yogurt

  • Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard and curry leaves.
  • When mustard starts spluttering add the onion, green chillies and ginger and saute for a few minutes.
  • Add the grated carrots and salt and mix well.
  • Cover and cook on low flame for about 5-6 mins till the carrot is cooked.
  • Remove from heat. When it cools, mix in yogurt.
