Ingredients

  • 2 litres - milk
  • 1.5 cups - sugar
  • 2 tbsp - curd for curdling
  • Elaichi powder/kesar

How to Make Shrikand

  • Bring the milk to a boil and use curd to curdle it after it has cooled down sufficiently.
  • After the curd is set, pour it in a cloth and hang it till all the excess water drains out. It will may take a day more or less.
  • Then take the paneer in a mixing bowl and add powdered sugar.
  • Beat it till it is well blended. To this add elaichi or kesar strands and beat further. Serve.
