Ingredients

  • 1 - medium Onion
  • 2 tbsp - Ginger and Garlic (grated)
  • 1 tsp - black pepper, coarsely ground
  • 1 - fresh chilli
  • 1/4 cup - fresh coriander, chopped
  • salt to taste
  • 1 cup - mashed Potato
  • 1/4 pound - shrimps, peeled and cooked
  • Juice of 1/2 Lemon
  • 2 - eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/8 cup - melted Butter
  • 1 - lightly beaten Egg for dipping
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Oil for deep-frying

How to Make Shrimp and Potato Fry

  • Finely chop the onion, shrimps and the chilli.
  • Mix all the ingredients together (except for the egg and breadcrumbs) and make a dough with enough water to bind everything.
  • Roll into small logs. Dip into egg, then roll in breadcrumbs.
  • Deep fry till golden brown, and serve hot.
