How to Make Shrimp Salsa

  • Marinate cleaned shrimp with salt and turmeric for 30 mins.
  • Take 4 tbsps of oil in a non-stick wok and lightly fry the shrimps till golden brown. Drain and set aside.
  • Add remaining oil in the same wok, put finely chopped onions and fry till golden brown.
  • Then add ginger and fry for 2 mins.
  • Add the salsa sauce, salt and jalapenos. Stir on low heat for 15 mins till the oil leaves the sides of the pan and the paste is smooth and well blended.
  • Add the fried shrimps, a little sugar into this mixture and stir for another 2 mins.
  • Garnish with green chillies and serve hot.
