Ingredients

  • 2 cups - shrimp
  • 2 - onions, chopped
  • 2 - Garlic flakes, ground
  • 1 tbsp - Tomato puree
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder to taste

How to Make Shrimp Soup

  • Peel and de-vein the shrimp.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add onions and saute till golden brown.
  • Add garlic paste and stir for 2 mins.
  • Add shrimp and fry till they turn pinkish.
  • Add turmeric powder, salt, pepper powder and tomato puree.
  • Add 4 cups of water and simmer for 45 mins.
  • Add more water if required.
  • Serve hot.
