  • 1 can- kidney beans (rajma)
  • 1- Onion
  • 1- Tomato or more
  • 1 tbsp -chopped Coriander leaves (optional)
  • a pinch- Turmeric powder
  • 1-2- jalapeno peppers (green chillies) OR 1 tsp- red chilly powder
  • 1 tsp- coriander powder (dhania powder)
  • salt
  • 1 tsp -oil
  • How to Make Simple and Easy Rajma:

    1. Chop up the onion, tomato and chillies and keep aside.
    2. Heat oil in a vessel on full flame for 2 mins.
    3. Add the chopped onions and keep stirring until onions become transparent.
    4. Add the turmeric powder, chilly powder and coriander powder and stir for 1 min.
    5. Add the tomato.
    6. Keep stirring for 3 mins or until no more chunks of tomato are visible.
    7. Add the salt. Add the can of rajma.
    8. Add a cup of water and stir. Close the vessel and allow it to boil for 5 mins.
    9. Sprinkle the coriander leaves on top of it.
