  • 250 g Potato.
  • Salt for taste.
  • 8 tsp oil.
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder.
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder.
  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder.
  • 1 tsp Corn flour or Rice Flour (for crispiness).
  • 2 tsp Coriander, chopped.
  • How to Make Simple and Plain Potato fry:

    1. First take the potatoes and cut them into 6 pieces each.
    2. Then boil the potatoes, adding a little salt and water and peel the skin as soon as it is boiled.
    3. Keep the frying pan on the flame, add oil, turmeric power, chilli power and salt and stir. Add potatoes immediately and fry for a while on low flame.
    4. Then add flour and stir. Keep it on low flame and keep stirring for every two to three minutes so that the potato gets crispy.
    5. Finally add pepper powder and coriander leaves, mix it and keep for 1 minute before serving hot|
