  • 250 g Potato.
  • Salt for taste.
  • 8 tsp oil.
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder.
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder.
  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder.
  • 1 tsp Corn Flour or rice Flour (for crispiness).
  • 2 tsp Coriander, chopped.

How to Make Simple and Plain Potato fry

  • First take the potatoes and cut them into 6 pieces each.
  • Then boil the potatoes, adding a little salt and water and peel the skin as soon as it is boiled.
  • Keep the frying pan on the flame, add oil, turmeric power, chilli power and salt and stir. Add potatoes immediately and fry for a while on low flame.
  • Then add flour and stir. Keep it on low flame and keep stirring for every two to three minutes so that the potato gets crispy.
  • Finally add pepper powder and coriander leaves, mix it and keep for 1 minute before serving hot|
