Ingredients

  • 5 slices - Bread (sandwich bread)
  • 3 big or 4 medium - Potatoes (boiled, peeled and mashed)
  • 5 - Chillies, chopped finely
  • 1/2 inch - Ginger (paste)
  • 1 big or 2 medium - garlic (paste)
  • Coriander - finely chopped
  • 20-25 - Peanuts (Kacha Singdhana), soaked in cold water for 1/2 hour
  • 3/4 tbsp - Sooji
  • 1/2 tbsp - Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tbsp - Coriander-Cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Chaat Masala
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil as per requirement
  • 1/2 cup - Water

How to Make Simple Bread Cutlet

  • Mash the potatoes and put in a bowl.
  • Lightly soak bread in water, squeeze the water out thoroughly and put in the bowl.
  • Remove the peanut shells, separate in 2 halves and put in the bowl.
  • Mix all the listed ingredients into a dough.
  • Take little pieces from the dough and form cylindrical shaped rolls. Flatten the cutlet rolls by hand.
  • Take a frying pan. Add 3 to 4 tbsps of oil each time you fry the cutlets.
  • Fry the cutlets well on both sides, till golden brown. Drain.
  • Serve hot with ketchup or chutney.
